Anatomy of an Attractive Nose

Is there a science behind beauty? When it comes to cosmetic surgery of the nose, the answer is clearly "yes." Dr. Buonassisi has spent years learning and refining techniques for creating an attractive nose through rhinoplasty. Vancouver residents often know exactly what they want to do to improve the appearance of the nose, from eliminating a bump on the bridge to refining the tip, but in some cases they require guidance and a professional opinion about what will look best.

Through an in-depth consultation and the use of computer imaging, Dr. Buonassisi is able to help patients gain a more complete picture of just what it means for them to have an attractive nose that fits the rest of their facial features. Dr. Buonassisi is a board-certified facial plastic surgeon who is also board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. He understands not only the cosmetic surgery techniques that can be used to reshape the nose, but also has extensive training in the treatment of nasal breathing disorders. These areas of expertise allow Dr. Buonassisi to create a nose that is both attractive, and functional.

Before Your Vancouver Rhinoplasty Surgery

Dr. Buonassisi encourages all of his nose surgery patients to carefully evaluate their nose before they come in for a consultation. Take a close look at just what it is that is causing you to be self-conscious about your nose. For instance, if you think your nose is "too big," what parts of it are most bothersome? Large nostrils? A prominent bump on the bridge? A tip that "sticks out" too far from the rest of your face? Here is a way to be more scientific when evaluating your nose:

Dr. Buonassisi considers each patient's bone structure, skin quality and personality before suggesting a rhinoplasty surgical plan. He uses computer imaging to aid in this process, giving the patient the opportunity to view a simulation of their results prior to making the decision to go ahead with surgery.

Common Areas of Concern
